Senior Finishes The Tournament At 6-Over-Par

STANFORD — California women’s golf senior Adora Liu shot a 1-over-par 72 on Wednesday in the final round of the NCAA Stanford Regional, finishing the tournament with a three day total of 6-over-par-219, tying for 32nd place.
 
Liu started on hole 10 for the third consecutive day, beginning play with a bogey. She earned four pars in a row before birdying holes 15 and 16 en route to shooting a 1-under par 35 on the back nine. On the front nine, she bogeyed holes three, five and eight, but birdied hole seven, finishing with a 2-over par 37. With Liu not advancing to the NCAA Championship, that officially marks the end of Cal’s season.
 

Andrea Revuelta from Stanford won the individual title at 12-under par, while the Cardinal demolished the leaderboard, winning the team title by 38 strokes at 42-under par. Emma Bunch from New Mexico State was the lowest scoring individual not on an advancing team at 6-under par, and will advance along with the top five lowest scoring teams— Stanford, Pepperdine, Oregon State, Arizona State and Missouri — to the NCAA Championship on May 22–27 at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad.
