STANFORD, Calif. — Coming off a runner-up finish at the ACC Championships, No. 14 Stanford men’s golf is back in action next week as the Cardinal trek to the NCAA Columbus Regional from May 18-20. Stanford, the No. 3 seed in the region, hits the tee from the OSU Golf Club’s Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio at 7:30 a.m. ET.
THE COURSE » OSU’s Scarlet Course is one of two tracks at Ohio State that were built during the Great Depression. Renowned with history, the Scarlet Course served as the course for the first ever women’s collegiate golf championship. Renovated by former Buckeye, Jack Nicklaus, the Scarlet Course plays as a par-71, 7,422 yard track that resembles courses under the guise of Alister MacKenzie, offering a historic touch for a competitive field of collegiate golfers.
THE FIELD » The NCAA Columbus Regional features three top-15 programs led by No. 2 Florida. No. 11 Arizona State follows behind the Gators while Stanford slots in at No. 14. Behind the Cardinal, the field includes No. 23 Long Beach State, No. 25 Florida State, No. 35 Utah, No. 38 South Carolina and No. 50 Cal. South Florida joins Memphis, Oregon, Illinois State and Wright State as the unranked teams to slot into the regional. The field also includes individuals from Princeton, Iowa, Iowa State, Rutgers, LIU, Michigan State, Minnesota and Middle Tennessee State.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT » The NCAA Men’s DI Championship Columbus Regional consists of 54 holes of stroke play from May 18-20 with competition beginning at 7:30 a.m. under the play five, keep four format. Teams will tee off in groups of three based on seeding with start times from hole 1 beginning 7:30 a.m. each day while tee times off of hole 10 begin at 8 a.m. Teams and individuals will be re-paired based on score following the first and second rounds.

THE CARDINAL LINEUP » Stanford brings a similar lineup of golfers to The Buckeye State from its outing in Panama City with No. 45 Jay Leng leading the charge for the Cardinal. No. 68 Dean Greyserman and No. 105 Nathan Wang will also head out to The Sunshine State along with Ethan Gao and No. 133 Edan Cui.
