No. 23 Noles Set for NCAA Regional

TALLAHASSEE –  The No. 23 Florida State men’s golf team will begin play on Monday at the 2026 NCAA Columbus Regional Championship.  The tournament will run May 18-20 and will be hosted by the Ohio State University Golf Club at the Scarlet Course.

The Seminoles, who drew the No.5 seed among the 13-team field, are one of five ranked teams heading to Columbus. The top five teams will advance to the NCAA Men’s Golf Championship, which will be held May 29-June 2 at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California.

This season, the Seminoles finished in the top five in six tournaments. FSU finished ACC stroke play in fifth place before making an appearance in the semifinal of match play.

FSU is led by junior Tyler Weaver, who has finished eight starts within the top 25 this season. He was named to the Haskins Award Watch List for the postseason, and he is also a semifinalist for the Ben Hogan Award.

Jack Whaley has also led the Noles through the final two tournaments of the season, finishing ACC stroke play tied for eighth at 4-under.  Whaley also placed sixth at the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial at 8-under.

Live scoring will be available through Scoreboard and live streaming will be available through BabyGrande, which can also be accessed via Scoreboard.
