Gamecocks Conclude Season at NCAA Columbus Regional – University of South Carolina Athletics

COLUMBUS, Ohio – South Carolina’s season came to a close at the NCAA Columbus Regional on Wednesday. The Gamecocks finished 12^th with a 54-hole total of 900 (+48). Teams battled windy and rainy conditions as No. 2 Florida shot even par to win by 24 shots.

Heavy rain delayed the start of today’s final round as it was an 11 a.m. (ET) shotgun start for the field.

The Gamecocks were in the mix heading into the back nine of round two on Tuesday but a tough finish put the team in 11^th and 10 shots off the top-five cutline thru 36 holes of play.

Redshirt senior All-American Frankie Harris paced the team with a T-17^th finish this week at 7-over. The Boca Raton, Fla. native shot 72-73-75 at OSU Golf Club’s Scarlett Course. Senior Zach Adams was the only other Gamecock in the top-50 individually as he finished T-36^th at 12-over (225). The Charleston, S.C. native shot scores of 73-77-75 in his final college event in Garnet and Black.
