Women's Golf prepares for 2026 NCAA Championship

TEMPE – Sun Devil Women’s Golf is preparing for the 2026 NCAA Women’s Golf Championship, taking place at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California from May 22-27.

No. 23 Arizona State has made the NCAA Championship for the 40th time, tying Stanford for the most in the nation. Head Coach Missy Farr-Kaye is looking to lead the program to a record ninth NCAA Title and her second at the helm in Tempe. GOLF Channel will be providing live coverage of the last three days. The Maroon & Gold will begin their stay in Carlsbad with a practice round on Thursday morning before participating in the first round. On Friday afternoon, Sun Devil Women’s Golf tees off starting at 6:30 a.m. MST on Hole 10, kicking-off the first of three stroke-play rounds. After three days, ASU must be in the Top-15 of the team standings in order to make the final day of stroke play (Monday). Should they find themselves in the Top-8 after Monday, the Sun Devils will earn a spot in the Match Play which begins on Tuesday. Last time out 
Sun Devil Women’s Golf punched their ticket to the NCAA Championship on Wednesday afternoon after finishing in fourth place at the Stanford Regional. 

This is the eigth championship that ASU has advanced to under Head Coach Missy Farr-Kaye in the past nine years, who was at the helm when the 2017 team captured the program’s eighth National Championship. Arizona State is one of only four programs in the country to make the NCAA Championship at least 23 times since 2000 (25-year span). They are joined by Duke, Stanford, and USC on this exclusive list.
