CARLSBAD, Calif. – The Florida State women’s golf team concluded play at the 2026 NCAA Women’s Golf National Championship on Sunday, which is being held at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California.
The Seminoles finished the tournament tied for 23rd place, finishing 21-over, 885.
Sophia Fullbrook will play for the individual title on Monday, as one of the top nine individual from a non-advancing team. Fullbrook saw her best round of the weekend, carding 3-under, 69. She started her day with back-to-back birdies on holes one and two, but gave a stroke back on the seventh hole. She added two more birdies on the back nine.
Fullbrook sits tied for 15th place at 4-under, 212. She will tee off at 3:42 p.m. on Monday.
Layla Pedrique carded two birdies on the day, and finished 3-over, 75. She was 11-over, 227 for the tournament.
Haruhi Nakatani followed with a round of 4-over, 76 and was 13-over, 229 to finish her first trip to the NCAA Championship.
Alexandra Gazzoli carded 7-over, 79 to finish 4-over, 220, tying for 58th place.
