No. 23 Noles Set for NCAA Championship


TALLAHASSEE –  The No. 23 Florida State men’s golf team will compete in its sixth straight NCAA Championships starting on Friday at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California.
 
The Seminoles are seeded 20th after finishing fifth at the NCAA Columbus Regional.  FSU will be paired with Georgia and Southern California and will begin the first round at 9:52 ET a.m. from the first tee.  On Saturday, Florida State will start the day on No. 10 at 3:12 p.m. ET.  Third round tee times and pairings will be determined by standing.
 
The top 15 teams after the third round will advance to the final round of stroke play on Monday. The top eight teams will advance to match play, beginning June 2.
 
The first three rounds of stroke play will be streamed through Babygrande and live scoring will be available on Scoreboard.  Stroke play on Monday will air on the Golf Channel.
