Here are 5 PGA Tour players we want in ‘Happy Gilmore 2’

2024 Masters

A new “Happy Gilmore” movie is on the way at Netflix, with Adam Sandler reprising his iconic role as the angry golfer with a slapshot for the ages.

As we all eagerly await Sandler’s return to the green as his ornery golf great, it’s very fair to wonder which professional golfers might make an appearance in the new film.

While we’re sure the infamous Shooter McGavin will probably find his way into this new movie at some point, there are five real golfers that we’d love to see play on the links with Gilmore in this new comedy sequel.

Let’s list them out and talk about why they’d be great for supporting roles in the new movie.

C’mon, how could you not want Happy Gilmore to meet Tiger Woods in the new movie? The most famous golfer of his generation meeting the funniest one would be comedy gold.

Homa is one of the most gregarious personalities in professional golf, and we’re sure he’d be an excellent fit for a Happy Gilmore movie. A cameo would be a strong fit.

Scheffler is one of the most successful golfers as of late, with two green jackets to show for it. If Happy Gilmore is competing at the Masters in this new film, we bet Scheffler will be a competitor.

Daly is one of the coolest golfers out there, and we could see him and Happy Gilmore getting along really well in a new movie. This one feels like an almost certainty.
