PULLMAN, Wash. (November 13, 2024) – Washington State Women’s Golf inked Kaitlyn Helm who signed a financial aid agreement to join the Cougars next fall, head coach Kevin Tucker announced Wednesday.
Helm is from Phoenix and plays at St. John Paul II Catholic High School. Helm was a four-year letterwinner and four-time team MVP, finished in the Top-10 at state three times before winning the AIA DII State Championships with a nine-under this fall.
“Kaitlyn is a remarkable player. She has a high golf IQ and has shown she can compete and win at the highest level,” Tucker said. “Her game is built to travel and we believe she’s just scratching the surface of her potential. We are thrilled to add Kaitlyn next fall.”
Helm is currently ranked No. 51 in the 2025 class after winning the 2024 Junior Golf Association of Arizona Championship, has posted five other Top-5 finishes in the JGAA circuit and also tied for fourth at the 2024 Girls Junior Americas Cup.
