“We are pleased with our 2025 class,” said Hester. “Keya Naik is an experienced player and has improved rapidly over the last two years. She has been a steady performer and just keeps getting better. Claire Green is a hard worker and strong student. She has had a great deal of success inside the state. Sarah Uebelhart will be the first Swiss player in our program and she will bring a wealth of international experience. She has proven herself at every level of junior golf all over the world. ”

Naik joins the Tigers from Ashburn, Va., and is the No. 2-ranked recruit in the state of Virginia (No. 46 nationally). Naik has turned in notable finishes at AJGA events, including T23 (The Nelly Invitational) and T31 (Rolex Girls Championship) at invitations in 2024. She has eight top-5 finishes in AJGA events and is a medalist in two AGJA Qualifiers. She also qualified for the 48th Boys and Girls Junior PGA Championship in 2024. Naik is also a member of the National Honor Society.

“I chose Clemson because of its excellent golf facilities, the friendly and welcoming atmosphere of a small-town campus, and approachable coaches,” said Naik.

Green will be staying in the state of South Carolina to carry out her collegiate career, coming to Clemson from Okatie, S.C. Green is ranked in the top five in the state of South Carolina for the class of 2025, and her May River High School team won back-to-back South Carolina AAAA state titles. She was named SC AAA State Girls Golfer of the year in 2024 and became the first female golfer to win an individual invitational in MRHS history. She is a National Beta Club member, a National Honor Society Member, an AP Scholar with Distinction and an AP Capstone Scholar, among other academic awards.
