Rory McIlroy joined lofty company on Sunday after winning the DP World Tour Championship and the season-long Race to Dubai, equalling Seve Ballesteros record of six European order of merit titles.
McIlroy had his ball on a string in the final few holes, stitching a wedge in close for birdie on 16 before another birdie on 18 secured the Northern Irishman a two shot win over Denmark’s Rasmus Hojgaard.
