As a team, UT shot 15-over, including a 3-over total in round three.
Lance Simpson was Tennessee’s highest finisher for the fifth time this season after tying for 19th with a 4-over 54-hole total. Simpson’s best 18-hole score came in round two when he carded an even-par 70.
Josh Hill and Bruce Murphy both placed inside the top 25 after each shooting 5-over overall. After starting the tournament at 6-over, Hill bounced back nicely in rounds two and three with a 70 and 69, respectively. Murphy competed individually for the Vols and posted a 71 in the final round to secure the top-25 finish.
Junior Evan Woosley-Reed concluded the tournament tied for 39th after contributing three counting rounds for the Big Orange, including a 72 in the last round.
Freshman Jackson Herrington capped off The Ford Collegiate with a 1-under 69 to tie for 49th.
The final member of UT’s lineup, Christian Pardue, tied for 56th.
UP NEXT: Tennessee will begin its postseason with the SEC Championships at Sea Island Golf Club in St. Simons, Georgia, which runs from April 23-27.
