Baltimore, Md. — The Wisconsin Men’s golf team travels to Maryland for the Big Ten Championship from Friday, April 25 to Sunday, April 27, at the Baltimore Country Club.
THE TOURNAMENT:
The Championship will consist of 54 holes; 18 holes per day over three days, with the rounds beginning at 8:00 a.m. (CT) on Friday and Saturday, and 7:00 a.m. (CT) on Sunday. Team scores shall be determined by adding the low four scores of each team for each round.

THE FIELD:
All 18 Big Ten schools will compete, including ranked teams: No. 12 UCLA, No. 13 Illinois, No. 27 Northwestern, No. 36 Oregon, No. 37 Purdue and No. 50 USC.
Wisconsin’s lineup will be: 1. Jacob Beckman 2. William Harned 3. Charles Erlandson 4. Graham Moody and 5. Evan Myers. Spencer Turtz will also travel as a substitute.
WISCONSIN IN THE BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIP:
Last season at the 2024 Big Ten Championship, the Wisconsin men’s golf team finished tied for seventh at 64-over par.
The Badgers shot a 290-303-311=904 at Scioto Country Club, in Columbus, Ohio. Jacob Beckman led the Badgers at the conference tournament, finishing in 15th place at 12-over par after shooting a 70-74-78=222.
THE COURSE:
This year’s Championship will be played at Baltimore Country Club, a par 70 course in Baltimore, Maryland.
The course has received many honors, including making Golfweek’s list of “America’s Top 100 Classic Courses” (pre-1960) numerous times, most recently in 2020. It is also listed as the best Classic or Modern (post 1960 design) Course in the state of Maryland. In addition, Baltimore Country Club is one of only two clubs in the world to have hosted a Men’s U.S. Open, a PGA Championship, a Men’s U.S. Amateur, a U.S. Walker Cup and a U.S. Women’s Open, and a Champions Tour Major.

LAST TIME OUT:
Wisconsin rounded out the regular season with a ninth-place finish at The Ford Collegiate, challenging some of the nation’s best teams. As a team, UW shot a combined 291-295-278=864 in the tournament, scoring a 24-over par.
Freshman Charlie Erlandson led the Badgers throughout the tournament, carding a 73-70-68=211 and placing tied in 11th place at 1-over par.
