Bears Rise Up Leaderboard At Folds Of Honor Collegiate

Cal Has Second-Best Round Of Day, Moves Into Fifth Place

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. – The California men’s golf team registered the second-best team score of the day Tuesday and moved up five spots to fifth place after the second round of the Folds of Honor Collegiate at American Dunes Golf Club on Tuesday.

Cal was 2-under par as a team Tuesday, led by Matthew Miyamoto’s 2-under 69. Miyamoto is now 1-under for the tournament and tied for third place in the individual standings, three strokes off the lead.

Four of the Bears’ five golfers shot rounds of par or better in the second round. Sihao Cong and Charlie Berridge are in a group tied for 17th at 3-over par.

Cal is at 12-over as a team for the tournament, five shots out of third place.

Cal wraps up the round Wednesday with a 9:45 a.m. PT tee time.
