Harris English What’s In The Bag?

Harris English enjoyed his best season to date in 2021, collecting victories at the Sentry Tournament of Champions and Travelers Championship where he had to defeat Kramer Hickok in an eight-hole playoff. As a result of his fantastic form, he earned a spot on the history-making US Ryder Cup team, claiming one win and two losses for the week. Starting off with the big stick and we see the slightly older Ping G400 (opens in new tab), which English has had in the bag for a number of years. Featuring a Mitsubishi Kuro Kage XT 70 X shaft, the American’s driver is a nine-degree loft.

Fairways

Just like his driver, English has the Ping G400 (opens in new tab), with a Fujikura Atmos Blue Tour Spec 7 X shaft making way for 14.5 degrees of loft. Not only does the American include the G400, but he also has a Ping G410 Crossover which, depending on the course and conditions, is switched out for a Ping i500 (opens in new tab) three-iron. The G410 has 21 degrees of loft.

Irons

As mentioned above, English does have a Ping i500 three-iron, but the main bulk of his set comes in the form of the Ping Blueprint (opens in new tab), which starts at a four-iron and goes all the way down to a nine-iron. All of the irons feature a True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 shaft.

Wedges
