Aaron Wise What’s In The Bag?
But what does the young American carry in his bag whilst on the PGA Tour? We take a look.
Aaron Wise What’s In The Bag?
Driver
TaylorMade Stealth Plus
Wise’s driver situation has changed of late. The young American did at several points in the past couple of years or so have the Callaway Rogue, Callaway Epic Flash, TaylorMade M5 and a Callaway Mavrik Sub Zero in the bag.
However he appears to have put a TaylorMade Stealth Plus in there for now. A model also used by Tiger Woods (opens in new tab) and Collin Morikawa, the Stealth Plus produced brilliant results during our testing. It produced impressive ball speeds and plenty of distance, whilst also looking outstanding. The compact profile will suit the better player which explains why so many Tour professionals have put it in the bag.
Fairway Wood
TaylorMade Stealth
He then carries a TaylorMade Stealth fairway wood as well but it is just the regular version and not the plus model. It has 15 degrees of loft and he used to carry a five-wood as well but this has come out for a hybrid right now.
Hybrid
TaylorMade SIM2 Max
Instead of another fairway wood Wise then uses a TaylorMade SIM2 Max hybrid with around 19 degrees of loft.
Irons
TaylorMade P790, TaylorMae P750
His irons start with a TaylorMade P790 UDI 2-iron and then a P790 three-iron. The rest of his irons are TaylorMade P750’s and they go from four-iron down to nine-iron.
Wedges
Titleist Vokey SM7, Titleist Vokey SM8
His wedges are Titleist Vokeys, two of which are SM7s in 48° (bent to 47°), 53° and a Titleist Vokey SM8 with 60° of loft. It is interesting he has not yet put the newer SM9’s in the bag yet but if he does we will update this section as soon as possible.
