The Phillips’ Perspective…

“I’m happy for Will Celiberti to notch his second top-20 in a row,” said head coach John Phillips. “He’s worked extremely hard this year, and I’m thrilled he’s seeing the fruits of his labor. We have a quick turnaround to straighten some things out and hit the road again this weekend.”

Over the two-day, 54-hole tournament (Oct. 10-11), Maryland played the par-72, 7,465-yard at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex: Kampen Course, designed by the late Pete Dye. The layout has been host to numerous events, including the NCAA Men’s Championships (2008), Big Ten Men’s Championship (2011), and the Indiana Open (2020). It will be the host of the NCAA Regionals in 2024.
