Li Finishes Tied for Second at the ANNIKA Invitational


ORLANDO, Fla. – With a three-day ledger of 14-under-par, 205, Duke women’s golf signee Katie Li finished in a tie for second at the Hilton Grand Vacations ANNIKA Invitational on Tuesday, which was being held at the Eagle Creek Golf Club in Orlando, Fla.

Over the three days, Li turned in rounds of 69, 67 and 69 for the impressive 14-under-par score.  She closed the event with a bogey-free 4-under score of 69 and over 54 holes the Basking Ridge, N.J., product collected 15 birdies.  Li went her final 48 holes without a bogey to close play.  

Li finished one shot behind tournament champion Ashleen Kaur, who eagled the final hole to finish with a 15-under, 204.  Alice Ziyi Zhao also finished in a tie for second with Li.

The top-5 finish for Li was the 18th of her career on the AJGA.  She now owns 18 rounds in the 60s on the AJGA as well.
