Women's Golf To Compete in Lady Buckeye Invitational


COLUMBUS, Ohio –  Rutgers women’s golf returns to Ohio this weekend to compete in the Lady Buckeye Invitational, hosted by Ohio State. 
 
The event will take place at the Ohio State Scarlet Golf Course and feature 36 holes of play on Saturday and then the final 18 holes on Sunday.

Last season, the Scarlet Knights finished in 9th place at the event, with Rikke Nordvik leading the way with a t-18 finish and Maeve Rossi (t-20) joining her in the top 20. 

In its last event, Rutgers finished in 8th place at the Fresno State Classic. Rossi (t-13), Leigha Devine (t-24) and Nordvik (t-28) all finished in the top 30 for RU. 

Rossi now has back-to-back top-15 finishes and three total on the season.

Event Schedule (All times ET)

  • Friday 4/14: Practice Round
  • Saturday 4/15: Rounds 1 and 2 – 8:30 a.m. ET shotgun start (round 2 begins immediately after round 1)
  • Sunday 4/16: Round 3 – 8:30 a.m. ET shotgun start
