Blue Devils Conclude Regular Season With Match Play in Greensboro


DURHAM – Fresh off its third team title of the season, the Duke men’s golf team concludes the regular season with an eight-player match play event against UNC Greensboro on Sunday, held on the Farms Course at Greensboro Country Club. The course plays at 7,296 yards and to a par of 72. 

The format features eight individual matches, beginning at 2:00 p.m., as the Blue Devils finish preparations for the ACC Championships, which start on April 21. In addition to three rounds of stroke play at the ACC Championship, the top four teams advance to match play to determine the conference champion. 

Duke hopes to continue building momentum after finishing off its third team title of the season at the Stitch Intercollegiate on April 11. The Blue Devils finished the 36-hole event at 21-under, 19 shots clear of second place, and had four individuals finish in the top 10 on the leaderboard — led by Kelly Chinn, who finished in second place with a 6-under, 136.

2:20 – Ian Siebers (Duke) vs. Randall Hudson (UNCG)

2:30 – Luke Sample (Duke) vs. Nick Lyerly (UNCG)
