East Lansing, Mich. – The postseason begins on Friday, April 28 for Michigan State’s men’s golf team as the Spartans begin play in the Big Ten Championships, being played at Galloway National Golf Club in Galloway, N.J.
The three-day, 54-hole tournament is being played on the par-71, 7,111-yard course on the outskirts of Atlantic City.

The Big Ten Championships field includes all 14 conference teams, with five of those squads ranked among the top-50 in the country by Golfstat. Michigan State, ranked No. 61 in Golfstat, will be joined by Illinois (3), Ohio State (25), Northwestern (28), Purdue (36), Indiana (67), Wisconsin (74), Iowa (76), Rutgers (79), Penn State (100), Minnesota (103), Michigan (112), Nebraska (113), and Maryland (200).

LAST YEAR AT THE BIG TENS
Michigan State went into the back nine in the final round in a back-and-forth battle with Illinois, but came up short as the Spartans ended up finishing one shot off the pace and in second place at the 2022 Big Ten Championships, held at The Pete Dye Course at the French Lick Resort in Indiana.
The Spartans had led through the first two rounds, taking an eight-shot lead after starting with a 12-under par 276 and then led by one shot entering Sunday’s final round.
MSU closed the tournament out by posting a 21-over par 309 to finish the three-day, 54-hole event at 22-over…
