GALLOWAY, N.J. – Senior Will Celiberti led the Terps at the Big Ten Championship at the Galloway National Golf Club this weekend. Celiberti, who finished in a six-way tie for 31st, posted a score of 150 (80-70), which was eight over par. The Championship was reduced to 36-holes after heavy rains began during the final round.
Maryland finished in 14th its 10th tournament of the 2022-23 season.
The Collective
-Senior Dillon Brown finished in a six-way tie for 46th, posting 154 (84-70) (+14)
-Freshman Ronnie Kim finished in a two-way tie for 62nd, posting 162 (84-78) (+20)
-Freshman Constantin Mons finished in solo 64th, posting 163 (85-78) (+7)
-Sophomore Florian Huerlimann finished in solo 66th, posting 72 (+1) in round two as a team substitute.
-Senior Will Koras posted a 87 (+16) in round one as a team substitute.
Over the three-day tournament (Apr. 28-30), the Terrapins played the par-71 – 7,033-yard Galloway National Golf Club designed by Tom Fazio. The tournament consisted of the ‘count four, playing five’ with substitutes allowed format.
