The next stop on this year’s Ladies European Tour (LET) season is a return to Belgium for the second year in a row.
Last year the Tour came back to Belgium for the first time since 1995 and it was Sweden’s Linn Grant who was victorious beating England’s Cara Gainer in a fierce battle.
Naxhelet Golf Club, which is near the city of Wanze, is the host venue once again for the LET’s ninth stop of the season.
A field of 126 players will tee it up this week in the hope of being crowned the 2023 Belgian Ladies Open champion.
Home favourite Manon De Roey headlines the field and is one of six Belgians teeing it up this week in the 54-hole stroke play competition.
The winner of the Individual title at the 2022 Aramco Team Series – Bangkok is joined by fellow Belgian professional Leslie Cloots plus amateurs Savannah De Bock – a PING Junior Solheim Cup winner – Celine Manche, Sophie Bert and Diane Baillieux.
South Africa’s Lee-Anne Pace, an 11-time LET winner, will also be looking to notch another victory to her impressive CV.
2023 Joburg Ladies Open champion Lily May Humphreys of England is in the field this week as is Gainer, who did so well around this course in 2022.
Germany’s Olivia Cowan had an impressive T3 finish in the individual competition in Florida last week and will be hoping to continue that form.
LET rookie Louise Duncan ended in a tie for seventh place at Trump International Golf Club West Palm Beach and will be looking to carry forward the momentum.
It will also be a similar story for Spain’s Maria Hernandez. Czechia’s Sara Kouskova, Australia’s Kirsten Rudgeley and South Africa’s Casandra Alexander who all finished T10.
