NORMAN, Okla. – The Illinois women’s golf team finished the second round of the Schooner Fall Classic in 15th after carding a team total of 292 (+12), as they head into Monday’s third round at Belmar Golf Club.
Isabel Sy turned in a team-best 68 (-2) on the day, picking up three birdies over the first five holes of the round. Sy would finish with a total of five birdies to place tied for 20th after 36 holes of play.
Sophia Sulkar turned in a 74 (+4) and is tied for 68th. Erica Lee and Anna Ritter each posted a 75 (+5) and the pair will enter Monday placed tied for 59th and tied for 68th, respectively. Elizabeth Beek fired a 77 (+7) and will enter the final round tied for 75th.
Wake Forest continues to lead the field at 20-under (340) and Oklahoma State’s Maddison Hinson-Tolchard leads individually at 8-under (132).
Monday’s third round tee times begin at 8:30 a.m. CT.
