JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. – After two rounds of play the the Briar’s Creek Invitational, the Badgers are in 16th place at 27-over par.
Junior Carly Carter leads the way for the Wisconsin at three-over par to place her tied for 27th. UW will play 18 holes on Tuesday to wrap up play.
Monday, March 11
Round 2
The Badgers shot a 304 (+16) in the second round of the Briar’s Creek Invitational, placing them in 16th at the end of the first day.
Carter and Kate Brody each shot a three-over 75, with Carter tallying three birdies to bring her total birdie count to seven.
Chloe Chan and Vanessa Ho each carded a five-over 77, while Camille Kuznike rounded out the lineup with a six-over 78. Competing as an individual, Gia Feliciano finished out the day with a six-over 78.
Round 1
Wisconsin carded a 299 (+11) in the opening round of the invitational, placing them in 13th.
Carted made par to lead the Badgers after the first 18 holes, including an eagle on hole 7 and four birdies.
Ho trailed closely with a one-over 73, while Chan shot a three-over 75. Brody carded a seven-over 79 with four birdies, and Kuznik rounded out the lineup with a 10-over 82. Individual Feliciano ended the first round with a three-over 75.
