Pure Golf’s Mist mid layer is a versatile and lightweight jacket that is ideal to wear for spring and summertime golf if there is a chill in the air.
It comes in nine striking colors, all of which are highlighted by a white trim around the mandarin-style collar. The full zip and the zips on the two side pockets are also white, so against the deep purple color, it’s an eye-catching and stylish jacket. The zip pullers are a shiny silver diamond shape that reflect the Pure logo and these are a nice addition to the overall detailing.
The fabric is a mix of polyester and spandex, and while it feels as light as a feather, it has a soft fleece-type lining that ensures adequate warmth when you need it. I would say this jacket is true to size. It fits fairly snugly, but I wore it comfortably over a polo shirt, and the stretchy fabric is generous and I managed to add a slightly thicker layer underneath, and it maintained a modern and flattering appearance.
Of course, everyone’s arm length is different, but I noticed that the sleeves fell nicely over the top part of my hands, and I welcomed the extra warmth when it began to get a bit chilly.
Whilst playing, the stretchy fabric went into overdrive, moving nicely in sync with me as on each shot. It’s worth mentioning the fit of this jacket again because it’s a good length and felt secure around my hips and didn’t ride up at all.
I tested the anti-crease fabric by folding and storing it in my golf bag and can report that it came out looking as presentable as when it went in! It’s also quick dry, which is always an added bonus. If women like this mid layer, they can match it up for a complete outfit from the matching top-to-toe collection.
