NC State Women's Golf Releases 2022-23 Tournament Slate

RALEIGH – NC State women’s golf has announced its competition schedule for the 2022-23 campaign, as announced by head coach Page Marsh on Wednesday afternoon.

The team’s slate for the upcoming season feature nine regular-season tournaments, with four in the fall and five in the spring.

NC State opens the season at the Cougar Classic in Charleston, S.C. on Sept. 12-13 and continues the fall at the Ivy Intercollegiate (Oct. 10-11), the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational (Oct. 17-18) and the Landfall Tradition (Oct. 28-30). The latter of those two tournaments will take place close to home in Chapel Hill, N.C., and Wilmington, N.C., respectively.

The Pack will travel to Mexico for its first tournament of the spring (Feb. 5-6). The squad then makes trips to Houston for the ICON Invitational (Feb. 27-28), Gainesville, Fla., for the Gator Invitational (March 4-5) and Johns Island, S.C., for the Briar’s Creek Invitational (March 13-14) before returning home to host Wolfpack Match Play (April 3-4) to wrap up the regular season.

The 2023 ACC Championship is set for April 13-18 at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C. The event will continue its new format with stroke play and match play portions.

NC State and Lonnie Poole Golf Course have been selected as one of the six host site for NCAA Regional Play that will take place May 8-10. Each regional site will feature 12 teams and six individuals, with the top four teams and top two individuals (not already on an advancing team) qualifying for the championships.

The 2023 NCAA Championship will then be held May 19-24 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
