Pac-12 Men’s Golfer of the Week (2/21/23): Sampson Zheng, CALIFORNIA (Jr., Nagoya, Japan)

• Earned first collegiate victory with share of medalist honors at John A. Burns Intercollegiate in Lihue, Hawai’i.
• Twice carded collegiate-low rounds of 7-under-par 65 en route to an 18-under 198 total.
• The 18-under finish is the lowest in relation to par in Cal program history, bettering the 17-under previously shared by Collin Morikawa and Sebastian Crampton, and tied for the third-lowest in Pac-12 history.
• Went 5-under over his final six holes to tie for first with reigning U.S. Amateur champion and SEC Golfer of the Year Sam Bennett (Texas A&M).

Pac-12 Women’s Golfer of the Week (2/21/23): Rose Zhang, STANFORD (So., Irvine, Calif.)

• Won the Therese Hession Regional Challenge for her eighth career collegiate victory (in 15 starts), including fourth win in five starts this season.
• Only individual in the 84-player field with three rounds at par-or-better, finished at 6-under 207 (68-68-71) for a three-shot victory.
• Eight career victories are tied for the fifth-most in Pac-12 history, one shy of matching Stanford’s program record held by Andrea Lee (nine).
• Has won every Pac-12 monthly or weekly honor so far this season, and five in total for her career.
