The Washington women’s golf team returns to Northern California for the second week in row this coming Monday and Tuesday, March 6-7, to play in the Juli Inkster Invitational, at the Meadow Club in Fairfax, Calif.

Last week, the Huskies won The Causeway Invitational in Sacramento, which was shortened to just 18 holes due to poor weather.

The Juli Inkster Invitational is two-day tournament, co-hosted by the University of San Francisco and San Jose State. The teams will play two rounds on Monday and the third on Tuesday, on the 6,157-yard, par-72 course.

Last year, UW’s Camille Boyd shot a 7-under 65 on the final day to win medalist honors at the Juli Inkster, while the Huskies finished third as a team. Boyd’s 14-under, three-round total was best in UW history, in terms of score under par.

Washington will send the following lineup to the Meadow Club:

  1. Camille Boyd
  2. Kennedy Knox
  3. Brittany Kwon
  4. Stefanie Deng
  5. Winnie Ng

Following the Juli Inkster, the Huskies have about two and a half weeks off to prepare for the PING/ASU Invitational, March 24-26, in Phoenix.
