GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – Florida State’s Frederik Kjettrup has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Golfer of the Month for February.
A native of Aabybro, Denmark, Kjettrup shot the lowest three-round score vs. par in program history at 18-under to win the Watersound Invitational at Shark’s Tooth Bay Golf Course in Panama City, Florida. Kjettrup won his second career tournament at the Watersound Invitational in a difficult field with eight of the 11 teams ranked. The Tournament was played at the same site as last year’s ACC Men’s Golf Championship. All three of Kjettrup’s rounds were under par, and he was 8-under in par 4 scoring and 8-under in par 5 scoring.
