Kaitlyn Schroeder Opens Play Wednesday at Augusta National Women’s Amateur


AUGUSTA, Ga. – University of Alabama women’s golfer Kaitlyn Schroeder is set to compete at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur Wednesday morning.

The event features an international field of the top 72 women amateur golfers in the world competing over 54 holes of stroke play.

A cut taking place after Monday and Tuesday’s opening 36 holes, advancing the leading 30 players and ties to the final round on Wednesday. In the event of a tie after 54 holes, the winner will be decided by sudden-death playoff. The final round will take place Saturday, April 1.

How to Watch

  • Live coverage of the first two rounds of the event can be found on the Golf Channel
  • Wednesday and Thursday coverage begins at 12:30-2:30 p.m. CT
  • The final round will be broadcasted by NBC from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. CT
