Patterson and Hawkins Inside Top 20 After Second Round of SEC Championship


BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Tennessee’s women’s golf team concluded a rainy second round of stroke play at the SEC Championship on Thursday, hosted at Greystone Golf and Country Club.
 
Caroline Patterson notched a trio of birdies on the back nine to shoot +4 (76) on the day, while Emily Hawkins, who shot even par in the first round, also carded a 76 in the second round. The pair is tied for 17th place at +6 ahead of tomorrow’s third round.
 
Angela Arora logged a 78 (+6) on Thursday and is currently tied for 32nd place at +8. Vanessa Gilly and Manassanan Chotikabhukkana each carded a 79 (+7) on day two. Gilly is tied for 45th place at +10, while Chotikabhukkana is tied for 51st place at +11 with one round of stoke play to go. The Lady Vols stand in 12th place at +30 ahead of Friday.
