2023 Big Ten Championships Day 2 Results
GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, N.J. – The Penn State men’s golf team wrapped up the second day of the Big Ten Championships Saturday at the Galloway National Golf Club.
The Nittany Lions saw a 26-stroke improvement in the second round, shooting a 4-over, 288, compared to their 314 in the first round. Penn State sits in 11th place in the team field at 34-over, 602, heading into Sunday’s third and final round.
Junior James Allen carded Penn State’s best round of the day, a 1-under, 70, and sits tied for 20th heading into Sunday at 5-over, 147.
Senior Patrick Sheehan moved up eight spots after carding an even 71 Saturday. He is tied for 31st at 8-over, 150.
Sophomore Jake Griffin shot a 1-over, 72, Saturday, and heads into Sunday’s final round tied for 37th at 9-over, 151.
Freshman Billy Pabst Jr. is in 52nd place after shooting a 5-over, 76, Saturday to put him at 13-over, 155, heading into Sunday.
Senior Jimmy Meyers carded a 4-over, 75, in the second round and is tied for 53rd at 15-over, 157.
The third and final round of the Big Ten Championships is set for Sunday. Live scoring will be available on GolfStat.
