RALEIGH — Wolfpack women’s golf is set for 2023 NCAA Championships action which begins on its home course Monday. NC State is the No. 8 seed in the Raleigh Regional that will be held at Lonnie Poole Golf Course from May 8-10.
TOURNAMENT INFO/FORMAT
NC State welcomes 11 additional teams and six individual players to the Raleigh Regional. The format is 54 holes of stroke play, with 18 holes played on each of the three days of action. The top five teams and the low individual not on an advancing team will move on to play in the NCAA Championships at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz., from May 19-24.
Tee times begin at 8 a.m. each day and will be posted on the tournament homepage ahead of each day’s competition. Attendance for the Raleigh Regional is free.
DANCING AGAIN
The Wolfpack has been represented in NCAA regional action 11 seasons in a row and has made 20 such appearances in the last 21 seasons. Each of the program’s tournament appearances have taken place under the guidance of head coach Page Marsh.
NC State is hosting a women’s golf regional for the first time since 2015, which also marks the last time that the Pack advanced to the final NCAA Championships site as a team. A potential NCAA Championship appearance in 2023 would be the fifth in the program’s history.

WOLFPACK OUTLOOK
NC State heads into regional action after a seventh-place finish at the 2023 ACC Championships, which tied as the highest finish for the team at the event since 2017.
Earlier in the spring season, the Wolfpack posted a pair of 18-hole program records (278, -10) and a tournament record (847, -17) at the ICON Invitational.
