Southerland Shoots 30 On Back Nine To Win Georgia Amateur

Reagan Southerland, an incoming freshman from Atlanta, shot 5-under-par 67 in the third and final round Sunday to win the 2023 Georgia Women’s Amateur at the Horseshoe Bend Country Club in Roswell, Ga.
 
Southerland shot 73-70-67 for a 6-under 207 total, three strokes better than Loralie Cowart and GaEun Athena Yoo.
 
Southerland began the day three behind Cowart and went out in 1-over 37. Southerland birdied 12, made an eagle 3 on the par-5 14^th hole and made consecutive birdies on 15, 16 and 17 to shoot 30 on the back nine for the win.
