Third Round Of Blessings Collegiate Invitational Canceled Due To Weather

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Due to lightning and other inclement weather in Northwest Arkansas, third round play at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational has been canceled.

“It’s unfortunate but that’s how the cookie crumbles sometimes,” head coach Alan Murray said. “This happens from time to time and you just have to take it on the chin.”

The Huskies were through four holes at Blessings Golf Club when play was halted Wednesday, with scores reverting back to the second round of play.

Washington finishes third at the vent at one shot over par. Petr Hruby paced the Dawgs in a tie for sixth at one-under, followed by Finn Koelle at one-over to tie for 16th. Teddy Lin tied for 18th one shot behind Koelle, while Bo Peng and Taehoon song tied for 23rd at four-over.

Washington will return to action at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate, hosted at the Golf Club of Georgia in Alpharetta, Georgia, October 13-15.
