The Sony Open, the second leg of the two-week Hawaii stretch on the PGA Tour, gets underway Thursday at Waialae Country Club in Honolulu. Defending champion Si Woo Kim teed it up last week in Maui at The Sentry, eventually tying for 25th.
Matt Fitzpatrick, Ludvig Aberg, Tyrrell Hatton, Hideki Matsuyama, Corey Conners, Brian Harman and Sahith Theegala are some of the big names to join Kim in the field.
Will Zalatoris is slated to make his first official Tour start since withdrawing prior to the 2023 Masters. The Wake Forest product finished last in the 20-man field at the Hero World Challenge in December.
Waialae Country Club is a par-70 track measuring 7,044 yards.
