TUCSON, Ariz. – Senior Karl Vilips shot a final round 5-under 67 to pace the Cardinal as tournament play at the National Inviational Tournament came to a close on Tuesday afternoon.
In a bounce back effort, Vilips notched seven birdies and two bogeys to notch Stanford’s best individual round of the event.
Barclay Brown shot 1-under on Tuesday to finish T-41st as the Cardinal’s best individual finisher of the tournament, shooting a 5-under 211 over three rounds.
Jake Beber-Frankel and Ethan Gao each shot even par in the final day of competition, while Dean Greyserman finished his final round 1-over.
Stanford returns to competition Feb. 8-10 as they head to Hawai’i to compete in the Amer Ari Intercollegiate.
