Women’s Golf Set to Compete in Weather-Altered Gators Invitational – Clemson Tigers Official Athletics Site

Clemson, S.C. – Clemson women’s golf, currently ranked No. 15 in the nation by Scoreboard, is set to return to the course this weekend, taking part in the 2024 Gators Invitational. The tournament is being held at the par-70, 6,002-yard Mark Bostick Golf Course in Gainesville, Fla.

Clemson, who has yet to play a tournament this spring that has not had a schedule altered by weather, is coming off a ninth-place finish at the Moon Golf Invitational in Melbourne, Fla. Play this weekend is now scheduled for a 10:30 a.m. shotgun start on Friday, where teams will attempt to play 36 holes. Saturday’s forecast will be evaluated following Friday’s rounds and start time will be determined at that time.

This weekend, the Tigers are led by sophomore Sydney Roberts, who is followed by junior Chloe Holder, senior Ananbelle Pancake, sophomore Isabella Rawl, and junior Melena Barrientos. 

The Tigers are one of 14 teams participating in this weekend’s tournament, which includes Arizona, Campbell, College of Charleston, FAU, FIU, Miami, Michigan, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Toledo, UCF and tournament-host Florida. Florida has won the last eight tournaments.
