Women’s Golf Headed to Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invite


PULLMAN, Wash. (March 3, 2024) – The Washington State women’s golf team is set to play at the Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invite in Fairfax, Calif. on March 4-5.

The Course and Tournament Format

The 2024 Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invite will be held at the Meadow Club Golf Course. The course will play as a par-72 at 6,157 yards.

Teams will play 36 holes on Monday, March 4 with an 8:15 a.m. PT shotgun start followed by another 18 holes on Tuesday, March 5 starting at 8:30 a.m.

The Field

In addition to Washington State and host San Jose State, BYU, California, Colorado, Denver, Oregon State, Penn State, Sacramento State, San Diego State, San Francisco, Stanford, Southern California, and Washington will also make up the 14-team field.

Last Time Out

Madelyn Gamble finished with a three-round score of 2-over, 221 to lead Washington State at the 2024 Pac-12 Preview, played at the par-73, 6,449-yard Nanea Golf Club. The Cougars finished the three-round tournament at 38-over, 914, and in 11th place. SMU captured the team title followed by Texas Tech and Houston.

WSU Golf

Head Coach Sofie Aagaard is in her second season leading the Cougars. The 2023-24 Cougar squad returns four members from the 2022-23 squad, including junior Madelyn Gamble, who ended last season with a third-place finish at the 2023 Pac-12 Golf Championships.
