KemperSports selected to manage 2 clubs in Delaware and Minnesota

KemperSports will assume management duties for two more clubs: Heritage Shores Golf Club in Bridgeville, Delaware, and the forthcoming Tepetonka Club in New London, Minnesota.

Heritage Shores is a semi-private club designed by Arthur Hills and opened in 2007. The par-72 course covers some 7,000 yards and wends its way through the homes of a 55+ lifestyle community. That community also features amenities such as an indoor pool with a therapeutic spa, outdoor pool, health and wellness center, state-of-the-art fitness center, tennis and bocce ball courts, pickleball courts, a fresh air fitness circuit, three restaurants, and a 28,000-square-foot clubhouse.

Other features of the golf course include practice facilities with a two-acre all-grass range, putting green and short game areas. The club also offers individual and group instruction in addition to its junior programming. KemperSports will use its expertise to enhance that programming, as well as that of the membership at large, with an updated event calendar.

“KemperSports brings proven expertise and an unrivaled passion that will help us immensely in elevating Heritage Shores into the golf club we know it can be,” said Amanda Lacy, president of Heritage Shores Homeowners Association. “For more than 40 years, their name has been synonymous with quality, and we are excited to bring their unrivaled commitment to service to our members and guests.”

Tepetonka Club is currently under construction with a scheduled opening date of Summer 2025. Club founder and chairman Mark Haugejorde said the club chose KemperSports to manage club operations because of its extensive experience running clubs across the country.

“KemperSports brings their destination golf expertise and deep infrastructure to lead the outstanding team at Tepetonka,” he said. “It’s a perfect fit for us.”

The club sits on a rural 228-acre site some 90 miles west of the Twin Cities and will feature an 18-hole par-70 course covering 6,765 yards designed by Australian firm OCM Golf. The club will also offer multiple dining experiences, a festivity barn, a grass-roofed comfort station, nine onsite cabins and the Tepetonka Beach Club on iconic Green Lake.

“We are excited and honored to be asked by Mark to join the Tepetonka Club team,” said KemperSports CEO Steve Skinner. “We look forward to helping him create a unique private club, golf and hospitality experience that will…
