USC Concludes Final Day of The Goodwin

SAN FRANCISCO – USC men’s golf wrapped up the final day of The Goodwin on Saturday (Mar. 30) at Harding Park Golf Course. The Trojans concluded the final round in a total of 5-over (70+71+71+73=285). The team recorded a tournament total of 39-over (295+299+285=879) and placed 26th out of 31 teams. 
 
Georgia took home the tournament crown with a final team score of 1-under (279+285+275=839). 
 
Gavin Aurilia finished the day with his best round of the tournament, posting an even par (70).   He collected three birdies on the final round and finished with scores of 72-75-70 for a 217 (+7) total and a T60th individually.
 
Antonio Safa and Krando Nishiba concluded the final round with matching scores, bot at 1-over (71). On the weekend, Safa was +13 to place T125th while Nishiba was +15 to finish T140th. 
 
Nicolas Dominguez and Sam Lape also recorded the same score to close out the third round recording +3 (73). Dominguez wrapped up the weekend +9 to place T80th, while Lape was +19 to claim T154th. 
 
The Trojans immediately jump into another competition as USC travels to Maricopa, Ariz. to compete at the Cowboy Classic Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday (Apr. 1 -2).
