Men’s Golf Continues Play at the SEC Championship


Sophomore Alfons Bondesson leads the University of Missouri men’s golf team through two rounds of action at the SEC Championship.

Bondesson carded a one-under 69, moving up 15 shots in the rankings to move into 40th at two-over (73-69). The sophomore took advantage of the middle holes as he carded four birdies in a six-hole stretch to move up the leaderboard.

Rounding out the Tigers are Jack Lundin at +5 (71-74), Virgilio Paz at +7 (71-76), Adam Miller at +9 (75-74) and Charlie Crockett at +10 (75-75).

As a team, the Tigers are in 14th place with a score of +22 on the par-70 course.

The final day of stroke play begins tomorrow morning at 8:40 a.m. CT.
