Money for nothing? The ‘disgraceful’ PGA Tour Player Equity deal…

What it’s like to hit a 452-yard drive (and what now for LIV?)

So, there we have it. PGA Tour players who ‘stayed loyal’ to the PGA Tour in the aftermath of LIV’s emergence now know how much they’re going to be rewarded with. Tiger Woods is set to receive $100m. There’s $50m for Rory McIlroy. Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas will each pocket $30m. And on and on it goes.

But is this a good look for the game? Is the professional realm of the sport in danger of losing fans altogether as the incredibly rich get ludicrously richer?

Michael and Alex get heated about it on this week’s episode of The bunkered Podcast.

Elsewhere, is dominance boring? Why has Rory McIlroy returned to the PGA Tour policy board? Is LIV Adelaide the real ‘fifth major’?

Plus, we welcome our youngest-ever guest to the show, with genuinely very funny consequences.
