Pac-12 Men’s Golf Championship Day One Recap

Host Sun Devil Men’s Golf completed the first of two rounds at the 2024 Pac-12 Men’s Golf Championship at Desert Forest Golf Club in Carefree and is 10 shots back of leader Washington, who will finish its second round Saturday after a lightning delay.

Teams will complete the second round Saturday at 8:30 a.m. MST/PT. Round 3 will start at 10:30 a.m. MST/PT. New pairings will be generated in between rounds.

Wenyi Ding shot 1-under 141 and is tied for the lead in the 72-player field. Ryggs Johnston — who was 5-over in his first six holes and 8-over through first 15 — finished at 3-over 145 (78-67) and is tied for 11th.
