PGA Tour Golfers
The Gators were represented by alumni duo Billy Horschel and Tyson Alexander (Cut) in the team format at the Zurich Classic. Alejandro Tosti (Cut) also competed and was paired with former PGA Tour winner Ted Potter Jr.
Korn Ferry Golfers
Former Gators Yuxin Lin (8), Ricky Castillo (T-48), T.J. Vogel (T-61) and Fred Biondi (Cut) competed at the Veritex Bank Championship.
Lin was the best of the bunch, notching a top-10 in his first Korn Ferry Tour event of the season. The 2023 National Champion kept his putter hot this weekend averaging 1.58 putts per GIR good for third best among the field.
Lin is sitting at 88th in Korn Ferry Tour Points despite only competing in a single event this season. Other Former Gators on the Korn Ferry Tour Points List are Ricky Castillo (17th), Fred Biondi (59th) and T.J. Vogel (109th).

PGA Tour Champions Golfers
The trio of Scott Dunlap (T-22), Chris DiMarco (T-26) and Brian Gay (T-32) tee’d off in the Mitsubishi Electric Classic.
Dunlap’s T-22 finish marks his second best weekend of the season (T-21 finish at the Chubb Classic). Dunlap tied for the most Greens in Regulation (GIR) hit on the weekend hitting 83.33% (45/54). Dunlap has moved up to 58th in the Schwab Cup Points List.
What’s Next
The PGA Tour will travel to McKinney, Texas for the CJ Cup Byron Nelson this weekend. Former Gators Tyson Alexander, Alejandro Tosti and Camilo Villegas will all be in the field.
The Korn Ferry Tour resumes play in Kansas City, Mo. for the Advent Health Championship from May 16-19.
PGA Tour Champions cotinines their schedule at the Insperity Invitational from May 3-5 in Woodlans, Texas as Scott Dunlap, Chris DiMarco, Brian Gay and Mark Calcavecchia will all compete.
Florida men’s golf preps for NCAA Regionals (May 13-15) as the Gators will find out their location assignment this afternoon at 2 p.m. live on Golf Channel and NBC.com/Live.
