TOURNAMENT OVERVIEW

The tournament is hosted at the Stanford Golf Course, a 6,727-yard, par 70 course, located above the Stanford University campus. Day one tees off for the Tigers at 10:25 a.m. CT.

The top five teams in the 14-team field qualify for the final round of the NCAA Championship, which is set for May 24-29 in Carlsbad, California.

SCOUTING THE COMPETITION

MU will be competing against 13 other schools, including two other SEC squads – No. 7 Ole Miss and No. 19 Texas A&M. Other opponents include No. 6 Florida State, No. 18 Illinois and No. 27 Stanford. On day one, Mizzou will be paired with SMU and Fresno State, with the teams being repaired according to score going into day two.

NCAA TOURNAMENT HISTORY

The Tigers are making their 17th appearance in an NCAA regional and entered the regional ranked 43rd in the nation. Mizzou has twice advanced to the NCAA Finals in 2005 and 2014 since the regional format was first adopted in 1989.

THREE-STRAIGHT APPEARANCES

Mizzou has made advancing to the NCAA Regional a habit as of late. After also earning bids in 2022 and 2023, the Tigers are making a third-straight appearance for the first time in school history. Seniors Charlie Crockett and Jack Lundin have been a part of all three consecutive bids.

LAST YEAR AT NCAA REGIONAL

The Tigers are also making their second-straight trip to California for the NCAA Regional, having competed at Morgan Hill in 2023. The Tigers placed seventh of 13 schools with a team score of 887 (287-309-291), while Charlie Crockett led MU by placing fourth individually of 77 golfers. Crockett’s finish was the sixth-best by a Tiger in school history at the NCAA Regionals.

LUNDIN NAMED TO FIRST TEAM ALL-SEC

Jack Lundin was announced to the All-SEC First Team on Friday, one of eight golfers to receive the honor. He was also selected as Mizzou’s representative for the All-SEC Community Service Team. Lundin is just the third Tiger in program history to earn first-team All-SEC honors – joining Jace Long (2012-13) and Hayden Buckley (2017-18).
