Trio of Vols Tabbed Ping All-Southeast Region


CARLSBAD, Calif. – The Tennessee trio of Jake Hall, Bryce Lewis and Evan Woosley-Reed was named to the PING All-Southeast Region team Saturday morning, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America. 

This marks the fifth straight year in which Tennessee landed multiple golfers on the all-region team. Earlier this month, Hall and Lewis were named All-SEC. 

Jake Hall | Redshirt Senior | Knoxville, Tenn. 

After earning All-SEC honors, Hall adds PING All-Southeast Region honors to his resume. The Knoxville, Tennessee, native currently holds a team-leading 23 rounds of par or better on the season and has notched seven top-25 finishes, with three of those being inside the top 10. 

Bryce Lewis | Redshirt Senior | Hendersonville, Tenn. 

Lewis, who was named PING All-Southeast Region for the fourth consecutive year and second-team All-SEC for the third straight season, holds five top-10 finishes on the season, including podium finishes at the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial Tournament and Fighting Irish Classic. The redshirt senior also boasts 22 rounds of par or better and seven top-25 finishes on the season. 

Evan Woosley-Reed | Sophomore | Shelbyville, Tenn. 

Woosley-Reed, one of Tennessee’s most consistent forces, has logged three top-10 and seven top-25 finishes this season. The Shelbyville, Tennessee, native’s highest finish of the season came when he tied for third at the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial Tournament. Additionally, Woosley-Reed has shot 12 rounds in the 60s.
