The two slots have been confirmed in Oregon, with Joey Vrzich reaching his first Major and golf coach and science teacher Colin Prater making it to the US Open after rounds of 68 and 73.
DAVID PUIG QUALIFIES
LIV Golf’s David Puig has finished top of the leaderboard in California to qualify for his second US Open. The Spaniard headed back to the clubhouse after rounds of 68 and 64 to book his place. He joins Dean Burmester as the other LIV golfer to qualify today, after Eugenio Chacarra got through in one of three final qualifiers two weeks ago.
NOT TO BE FOR THE 2010 CHAMPION
The dust is beginning to settle on the qualifiers that have been completed, and one of the most notable players to miss out is 2010 US Open champion Graeme McDowell. The LIV golfer finished two-over for the 36 holes at The Bear’s Club, five short of the cut line.
