Brady Campbell Named Women's Golf Assistant Coach

TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Women’s Golf Head Coach Giovana Maymon has named Brady Campbell as the program’s assistant coach. Campbell helped guide Colorado State to consecutive top-three finishes at the Mountain West Championships during the program’s historic stretch of success.

“Brady brings great experience and championship success with him from Colorado State, and I am excited to add him to our coaching staff,” Maymon said. “His devotion to coaching and the game of golf are very impressive and align with the culture of our program. Brady also has knowledge of the technical aspect of golf and developing golfers that will help the growth of our young ladies on the course. More than anything, he is passionate about being a part of Arizona Athletics and the University of Arizona, and I can’t wait for him to be a part of our program.”

During his two seasons in Fort Collins, the Rams had three student-athletes earn All-Mountain West honors that included Kara Kaneshiro being named the MW Freshman of the Year last season. Andrea Bergsdottir was a First Team All-MW selection last year as well, marking the first time CSU had a first team all-conference golfer in six seasons.

Colorado State qualified for the NCAA Las Vegas Regional in May, which marked its first NCAA postseason appearance since 2010. The Rams went on to post their best finish ever at NCAA Regionals as Sofia Torres placed in the top 15 of the player leaderboard, which was also the school’s best individual finish at an NCAA Regional. Torres also qualified for NCAA Regionals as an individual the year prior, posting a top-25 final score of 1-under.

“I’d like to thank Giovana and Desireé Reed-Francois for this amazing opportunity,” Campbell said. “It is a privilege to join a program with three national championships and the incredible history that Arizona Women’s Golf has. I am excited to join the Wildcat Family in Tucson and be a part of this great university as we get ready to start the 2024-25 season.”

Prior to the record-breaking run at Colorado State, Campbell was the 2021-22 Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) Coach of the Year as the Women’s and Men’s Head Golf Coach at NAIA Lewis-Clark State College where he led both teams to a combined five tournament titles. Kristoff Panke was named Third Team NAIA All-American and the conference’s Co-Player of the…
